I first met him when he, Forest Woods, Homer Circle,Harold Ensley and Carl Lowrance came to Bull Shoals boat dock to propose a tournament. I was 17 and soon to be drafted, Vietnam, but had the chance to fish 2 early BASS Tournament's. Finished 2nd and 9th. After seeing his organization grow and the energy and intelligent thought brought to the world of fishing, with such things as CATCH AND RELEASE. I can't help but feel Carp fishing will greatly benefit by his association. Thank you Mr. Scott for your influence on a young angler and positive influence on so many others.
