Beautiful St. Lawrence County is your host for the 2011 Carp Angling World Championship. At just over 2,800 square miles, the county is the largest of all counties in the eastern half of the United States. St. Lawrence County is predominately rural and home to about 110,000 people. This scenic region is bounded by the Adirondack Mountains to the south and 70 miles of the majestic St. Lawrence River to the north where the river creates a natural boundary between the United States and the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Some highlights along the river corridor include:

The Carp Angling World Championship will be held entirely within the United States. The international border can be crossed by vehicle at Ogdensburg, NY/Prescott, Canada and Massena, NY/Cornwall, Canada bridges. Border crossings are strictly enforced via land and water. Please carry your documentation with you at all times.
